Haley Hewer takes Kelowna's Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour Ford Series event at Harvest Golf Club

Two rock-solid rounds of 74 earned Penticton’s Haley Hewer a three-stroke victory in the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s Ford Series at the Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna this week.

“I had a great group of girls to play with,”  Hewer said in a statement. “I love this golf course and this is my first win, so it feels pretty great!”

Kelowna hosted the series in which junior golfers battled for division titles, international exemptions and a team interclub victory on June 29-30.
