The Penticton Lawn Bowling Club will be hosting an open house on June 8 and 9.
The event, at the lawn bowling club, 260 Brunswick Ave., will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
Students from Penticton Secondary School and Holy Cross School will be playing for the first time.
Philippa Keys of the lawn bowling club expects more than 300 students will try lawn bowling for the first time by the end of May.
Those students who join will be able to play seven days a week through the summer, with indoor and carpet bowling later in the year.
A student membership is $75, while a family membership is $200 for a year.
The club’s website is online at pentictonlawnbowls.ca/.
