The Penticton Tim Hortons Pinnacles have two more chances to get their first win of the Pacific Coast Soccer League season.
The Pinnacles wrap up the Premier Men's schedule with a double-header against the Kamloops Heat. The first matchup is Saturday in Kamloops, and on Sunday the Pinnacles host at Kings Park at 2 p.m. This game was originally scheduled as the season-opener.
This matchup presents an opportunity for the Pinnacles to not only get their first victories, but spoil the Heat's chances of qualifying for the playoffs. The Heat, who have two wins, two draws and four losses, earned all their wins against the Khalsa Sporting Club, who they trail by four points for the last playoff berth. The Heat only need a win and a draw against Penticton to get in, since both their wins came against KSC.
The Pinnacles, however, with a young squad, have struggled to score managing three goals all season. They come from Isaac Koch with two and Enzo Paal.
