Penticton skier to represent Canada at World Junior Championship

A Penticton skier will compete amongst the top talent in the world as part of Team Canada at the Junior World Championship.

Brayden Kuroda is one of four skiers from B.C. on the men’s team (the other four are from Quebec). He will compete in moguls in Valamenco, Italy from April 5 to 6. Joining him will be Pentictonite Josh Kober, who is part of the coaching staff.

Kuroda recently won two gold medals at the Canada Winter Games, taking the top of the podium in the aerials event and the moguls competition. He finished in second place in moguls in the Canada Cup standings this season.
