Penticton to host elite bantam hockey tournament

An elite bantam hockey tournament is coming to Penticton Dec. 27 to 30.

The Okanagan Elite Hockey Association is pleased to announce that the South Okanagan Events Centre, Okanagan Hockey Academy, and Memorial Arena will play host to a major hockey tournament Dec. 27-30.

The tournament will feature 16 teams of bantam AAA and AA players from Western Canada and the Western United States.  Teams from Camrose, Alta., to Littleton, Colo., Nanaimo to Anchorage, Alaska will be participating as will local teams from Penticton and the Okanagan Hockey Academy. The tournament expects many Western Hockey League and BCHL scouts in attendance.
