Josh and Bradly Nadeau, the star-studded sibling duo on the Penticton Vees, have each been recognized by the B.C. Hockey League for the same reason in a span of two weeks.

After Josh was named the BCHL’s first star of the week on Oct. 4, thanks to a stellar offensive start to the season, and Bradly was given the same honour on Oct. 17.

The Nadeau brothers have led the Vees to eight straight wins in the season’s early goings, ranking No. 1 and 2 in BCHL scoring.

Bradly, who leads the league in scoring with 18 points, enjoyed a week where he scored the overtime winner against the Merritt Centennials to extend Penticton’s win streak past 22 games dating back to last year’s playoff run.

In two games on weekend, against Merritt and Vernon in succession, Bradly posted a total of six points.

Josh is second in BCHL scoring this season with 14 points.

The Vees are back in action tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 19) when they battle the Chilliwack Chiefs on the road.

Puck drop is at. 7 p.m., with the game set to be broadcasted on Bounce Radio 800 AM.
