The Penticton Vees have sent forward Jackson Potulny to the Langley Rivermen in exchange for future considerations, the clubs announced Tuesday.

Potulny, a 19-year-old BCHL rookie, scored one goal in eight games for the Vees this season.

The forward signed with Penticton in April 2024, after spending the last three years at the prestigious Shattuck-St. Mary’s School in Faribault, Minnesota. He is the nephew of former Edmonton Oilers forward Ryan Potulny.

The six-foot-three-inch tall, 186-pound forward is committed to the University of St. Thomas in his home state of Minnesota. He is expected to play there next season.

Potulny's new BCHL team, Langley, owns a 8-6-2-1 record and sits fourth in the Coastal Conference.

Penticton (11-5-0-0) was handed its second straight loss Tuesday, Nov. 5, after falling 3-0 to the West Kelowna Warriors.
