Chargers and Ice Dogs pick up wins in Penticton Men's Rec hockey playoffs

The Penticton Men’s Rec Hockey League begans its playoffs and the Wolf Creek Chargers opened with a 6-4 win over  the Game Time Sports Wolverine. Scoring for the Chargers were Brendan Miller with two, Brock Anderson, Brett Van Riper, Howie Wright and Jessin Potskin. For the Wolverines, it was Mark Petry, Joel Post, Sean Zuk and Dominic Aceto.

The EcoDry Ice Dogs doubled up the Broncos 8-4. Mitch MacMillan nettted three, while Mike Funk and Nick Riep scored twice. Chad Kupczyk scored the other goal. For the Broncos, it was Stuart Nisbet and Andrew Pond scoring.
