Bill Stevenson defended his Penticton Senior Men’s Championship with an even-par, 140 Wednesday.
It’s the sixth straight championship for Stevenson. Earning the overall low net was Claire Morris with a net score of 127. Flight winners and scores were: A Flight - Gord Barnes (152); B Flight - Charlie Richards (166); C Flight - Ron Murphy (173) and D Flight - Greg McWilliams (179).
Smith downs Vaagen in Summerland
Lil Smith bested Vijai Vaagen 71 to 73 in Best 9 play at the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club.
Best 9 (front or back), doubled the score and subtracted their handicap to achieve the final tally.
