The first Steve King Classic 100-kilometre run attracted 79 athletes.

SISTA POWER — Jen Annett of the Century Sistas is all smiles during the Steve King Classic 100-kilometre run. The Century Sistas won the relay in 9:16:25. Individual winners were Chris Wilson and Tammy Howe of Kelowna. They clocked in at 9:33:10 and 11:37:03 respectively.

The first Steve King Classic 100-kilometre run attracted 79 athletes. Next year's event will take place on Sept. 14 with organizers hoping it will attract 45 teams and  30 to 40 individual athletes.
