Summerland rink wins home bonspiel

Summerland bonspiel attracts 32 teams during weekend

Glen Brennan’s rink from Summerland were the A side winners of the Bush Spiel at the Summerland Curling Club Jan. 4 to 6. Brennan’s rink was among 32 teams participating, including 18 from Summerland. Taking the B side was Kelowna’s Eric Hirtz with Kim Wilson, Kevin Kilmartin and Pat Bradbury. The C side winners from Summerland were Dale Abrey, Cheryl Jaeger, Steve Favel and Susan Favel. The bonspiel also featured six teams from Penticton, Kelowna and one from Oliver.
