Summerland Steam to play in two road games

Junior B team will face Nelson Leafs, Castlegar Rebels on weekend

The Summerland Steam will be on the road this weekend for a pair of Junior B hockey games.

This evening, the Steam will face the Nelson Leafs at the Nelson Community Complex. The game begins at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, the team will face the Castelgar Rebels at the Castlegar Complex, beginning at 7 p.m.

At present, the Steam are in second place in the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference:Okanagan Division in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.

The team’s record is two wins and two losses in regular season play.

Nelson and Castlegar both play in the league’s Kootenay Conference:Neil Murdoch Division.

The Leafs are in first place in their division with four wins and no losses. The Rebels are in fourth place with one win and one loss.
