Team B.C. is accepting athlete applications for those interested in representing the province at the 2017 North American Indigenous Games being held in Toronto, July 16 to 23.
Athletes who apply will be contacted following the deadline, Dec. 9. In order to be eligible, athletes must be born between 1998 to 2000, be a B.C. resident, be born of Canadian or American Indigenous ancestry. Athletes are asked to provide proof of ancestry with a status card, Metis or First Nations Card, Treaty, Inuit and Inuvialuit identification, as well as be a current member in good standing with Badminton B.C.
Athletes selected without a current membership can renew/purchase upon successful completion. Applications can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Athletes may also register online at http://tinyurl.com/hlvjxy2.
