The Penticton Soccer Club hosted its 37th annual Old Timers tournament at King’s Park over the Thanksgiving weekend.

The Oldtimers tournament featured teams from Missoula, Mont., Prince George and Calgary.

Penticton defeated the Cariboo Balls 4-3 in a shootout to win the 35-plus division, while the Okanagan Kickers from Kelowna defeated Piva Financial from Kamloops 2-1. In the women’s rec division, Penticton defeated the Houligans 2-0.

PSC added a Co-ed tournament this year to help a team raise funds to go to New Zealand next year for the World Masters Games.

Five teams took part and the Hattricks won.

“It was fabulous,” said PSC president Dale Anderson. “People said they had a great time.”

Anderson also thanked the volunteers who gave several hours of their time and are a big reason teams come back.
