Tigers baseball teams picks up win with key bunt against Summerland

The Penticton Tigers peewee A baseball team picked up a 10-9 win against Summerland on Tuesday. Both teams enjoyed solid pitching and the offence stepped up. For the Tigers, Zach Annett drove in two runs in the opening inning. In the bottom of the second inning, Jade Musgrave hit a single to right field to score a run, while Khy Cutler hit a triple along the first base line before making a solid run home the following inning. Calum McGill hit a line drive to right field, which he turned into a double. He stole third base to eventually score. In the fourth inning, Zachary Amyot kept the batters off base with superb pitching and in the bottom half of the inning, Ben Nelson delivered a run with a line drive to left field. Nelson also delivered defensively making a beautiful catch to end the fourth inning. Tied in the fifth inning, Jaykob Anderson connected on a bunt to deliver the winning run.
