Two local ice skaters from the Glengarry Skating Club have been crowned the 2022-23 champions in the 2023 BC/YT Super Series StarSkate Final and Adult Skate competition held March 10-12, in Kelowna.

Micah Rodrigues came in as the champion in the Pre-Juvenile Men division.

Vivian Kanazawa is the champion in the Pre-Juvenile Women U13 division.

This makes them the provincial champions for the overall year in the province, said head coach Trevor Buttenham. The results are taken by attending up to seven different competitions held around the province during the 2022-23 season, and the top three scores from each skater are added together to give them a point total.
