The Penticton Vees wrapped up their three-game Vancouver Island road trip with a 4-2 loss to the Cowichan Valley Capitals.

The Capitals earned their fourth win of the season as Kyle Horsman potted the winner at 3:47 of the third period. It was his second of the game and and 10th of the year. Just over five minutes later, Skylar Pacheco sealed the victory for the Capitals in front of a crowd of 1,042.

Neither team found the back of the net in the opening period, which the Vees outshot the Capitals 11-6. In the second period, Demico Hannoun gave the visitors a 1-0 lead as he was setup by Patrick Newell and Mike Lee. The Capitals then responded with two unanswered goals from Sean Harrison and Horsman withhin four minutes of each other in the opening seven minutes. Mitch Newsome got the Vees back on even footing 1:11 seconds after Horsman's goal.

Matthew Zentner made 29 saves for the win, while Brendan Barry turned aside 19 shots.
