The Penticton Vees have announced their home dates for the Interior Division playoffs in the BCHL Fred Page Cup playoffs.
Due to a three-way-tie between Merritt, Salmon Arm and West Kelowna for the final two playoff spots, the Vees do not know who they’ll be facing in first round as of right now. The Vees will open the playoffs at the South Okanagan Events Centre March 3 and 4. Face-off for both games will be 7 p.m. Game 5 (if necessary) will be on March 9 and Game 7 (if necessary) will be on March 11.
If the Vees advance to the Interior Division Final, they would host Game 1 on March 14 at 6 p.m. Game 2 would be the following afternoon, Sunday, March 15 also at 6 p.m. Game 5 (if necessary) would be on March 20 at 7 p.m. and Game 7 (if necessary) would be on March 22 again at 6 p.m.
The third round of the BCHL playoffs will be a three-team round robin between the three division winners. The BCHL round robin will be completed between March 25 and April 5. The Fred Page Cup Final will be played between April 10 and April 19.
Fans can purchase discounted playoff adult/senior tickets at $10 per game for Games 1 and 2 of the first round if they buy before noon on March 3. After noon on March 3, tickets will be $15 for adults and $13 for seniors. Students and children tickets are still free throughout the playoffs courtesy of Peter’s Brothers Construction.
