The Okanagan Skaha School Districk Track and Field championship took place at Pen High on Wednesday and Thursday.

VICTORY LEAP — Carli Dekock of the Skaha Lake Middle School Sharks won the long jump during the Okanagan Skaha Middle Schoool Track and Field championsips held at Pen High Wednesday and Thursday.

The Okanagan Skaha School Districk Track and Field championship took place at Pen High on Wednesday and Thursday. Students competed in the 4x100-metre relay, 100-m, 200-m, 400-m, 800-m, 1,500-m and 3,000-m relay. Athletes in Grade 8 competed in the javelin throw and triple jump, while all grades took part in the long and high jump, shot put and discus throw.

Skaha Lake Middle School won the event with 259 total points. In second was McNicoll Park with  142, third went to KVR with 105, followed by Summerland Secondary with 90, Holy Cross 38, Entre Lac 15 and Penticton Christian with 6.
