Volunteers rally behind Continental Cup

It’s hard to believe we are at the half way mark of our curling season.

It’s hard to believe we are at the half way mark of our curling season.

As 2012 draws to a close, the bells will be ringing as we slide towards 2013 and The World Financial Group Continental Cup.

We will be decking the halls with flavours of the Okanagan for the world to see during the 30-plus hours of TSN coverage.

Once again, Penticton you saw the benefits for our community and 260-plus came forward to volunteer. Thank you.  Each of you will be rewarded in so many ways.  The volunteer rally held in November showed the volunteers true spirit as the excitement builds for four-day event.  Everyone is crucial to the success of the event. Now that single tickets are on sale, there has been flurry of activity in the box office. So Come All Ye Faithful to SOEC Box Office Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and purchase a ticket to the biggest curling event Penticton has ever seen.
