Rainy weather is putting a damper on local sports leagues with many city fields being closed.

The City of Penticton shut down Kings Park fields on Monday due to the weather conditions.

The Penticton Slo-Pitch League has already cancelled 32 games since the season opened on April 5. Some games were moved from Lions Park and the two fields at Parkway school over the past 11 days to Princess Margaret and KVR fields. However, with more rain forecasted on Monday they decided to cancel all games for the day.

Organizers for the league said they are working on a plan to reschedule the 32 games that have been rained out.
