Doyle Cup tickets now available, Vees having open practice

Penticton Vees announce tickets for BCHL/AJHL battle available for purchase

The Penticton Vees have announced that tickets for the 2012 Doyle Cup are on sale.

The Vees advanced to the Doyle Cup after sweeping the Powell River Kings in the Fred Page Cup Final, their second title in five years. Penticton will play the winner of the Alberta Junior Hockey League Enerflex Cup, which is being contested between the Fort McMurray Oil Barons and the Brooks Bandits. The Bandits currently leads the best-of-seven series 3-2.

The 2012 Doyle Cup will begin in Alberta on April 20 and 21 for the first two games of the series. If the two teams split the two games, they will play Game 3 in Alberta on April 22. In this scenario the series will shift to Penticton for Game 4 on April 25. If the first two games are swept by one team, Game 3 will be played in Penticton on April 24. All remaining games of the series will be played at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
