Steven Fogarty's shorthanded goal helped the Penticton Vees earn an 8-5 win against the Prince George Spruce Kings in the Prince George Coliseum.

Trailing 5-4, Wade Murphy tied the score 35 seconds into the third, then Fogarty scored to give the Vees their 42nd straight win. Goals by Joey Benik and Travis St. Denis sealed the win, while Chad Katunar made  37 saves for the win. Former Vee Michael Betz recorded two assists and goalie Ty Swabb made 32 saves in the loss.
