Wade Murphy nets two as Vees down SilverBacks in Salmon Arm

A two-goal effort by Wade Murphy lifted the Penticton Vees to a 3-2 win against the Salmon Arm SilverBacks. All three Vees goals came on the man advantage, three-for-five, with Dexter Dancs opening the scoring at 10:51 of the first period. Both of Murphy's goals were scored within three minutes of each other. The SilverBacks scored both of their goals in the final five minutes of the game, 26 seconds apart. Chad Katunar made 31 saves for the win, while Colin Dzijacky was named the Fortis BC Energy Player of the Game after making 42 saves.
