Penticton & Wine Country Chamber is hosting a Business Luncheon featuring guest speaker Derek Burleton, VP and deputy chief economist (Canada), TD Financial Group. The event starts at 11:45 a.m. sharp in the Riverside Room at the Days Inn. Enjoy great food, hear first-hand about the medium term outlook for financial markets and the local area economy, and be back at the office for the afternoon. Virtual club

Penticton Economic Development Services is working with the Province of B.C. to expand opportunities for BC companies to enter new markets. The BC Business Network is a virtual business club for B.C. companies that is a vendor database, a matchmaking resource, an event invitation source, and an information and market intelligence network.

Together with the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Investment, and the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, the Penticton Economic Development Services is hosting Going Global Exporting Seminar May 3 at the Chamber of Commerce board room.

Learn from the experts — market entry strategies for exporting to foreign direct investment; exchange rates and getting paid, conducting market and competitive intelligence and more.
