The Barley Mills Brew Pub in Penticton has been involved with the Canadian Cancer Society for many years. They have also hosted the Penticton Relay for Life’s kick-off event each year. The Barley Mill donates their facilities, silent auction items, as well as providing discounts on meals for kick-off event attendees and helping us sell tickets to the event. At Relay, they provide free meals for survivors and caregivers. As a result of their continued support, the Society is able to honour those involved in the event each year and ensure the continued involvement and success of the event. The Relay for Life kick-off raises awareness around the event, as well as celebrates cancer survivors, caregivers, and volunteers. Barley Mill Brew Pub is a true supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Society said it is its privilege to honour them with this award.
