A charity dedicated to helping children overcome traumatic events has received a donation from the BC Association of Chiefs of Police.
The $5,000 donation was handed to Cops for Kids at the RCMP office in Kelowna on Nov. 30.
The donation will be used to support children through the Cops for Kids grant program and by providing resources to youth in B.C.
People can fill out an online application to receive funding for a child in need at copsforkids.org.
