The Summerland Credit Union has loosened the requirements for students applying for Grade 12 bursaries.
The changes, approved by the board, allow any student who is a Credit Union member to apply for one of up to five $1,000 bursaries. In the past, the bursaries were only available for Summerland Secondary School graduates.
The application deadline is May 31. Information about the bursaries and application forms are available at www.sdcu.com.
