Kars Under the ‘K’ fun for the whole family on Aug. 1

The Show and Shine and all-day family event will feature live music, food and over 100 classic cars

Kars Under the ‘K’ makes its return to Main Street on Sunday, Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The annual Kars Under the ‘K’ show and shine is not simply about cars – it’s also about family fun.

You can start off your day with a yummy pancake breakfast put on by the Keremeos Elks, check out Vendor’s Alley, listen to great music by Thunder Alley Entertainment, go for a free swim at the pool, watch your children in the bouncy castle or go to the Keremeos Legion which is right next door for a cold one in the beverage garden.

There will also be a concession at the show. Kars Under the K has been an annual event for more than a decade and this will be the return of the fun event since it was cancelled last year because of the pandemic.

Don’t miss the best car show around, which will display hundreds of antique and vintage cars, trucks and tractors, muscle cars and street rods, custom and classic cars.

Kars under the K is a non-profit organization.

The event raises awareness and money for local causes. Car registration and on the grass parking starts at 8 a.m.

The participants’ choice awards and vendors’ alley starts at 9 a.m.
