Police officers in Keremeos enjoyed a successful fundraiser at their annual “Cram the Cruiser” event.
The Keremeos RCMP detachment held the yearly event on Dec. 16 at Buy-Low Foods on 7th Avenue.
Despite global economic uncertainty, local generosity shone.
The fundraiser managed to double the amount raised in the previous year, totaling over $1,800 in cash and several hundred in donated gift cards.
“The Keremeos RCMP would like to thank the community, who all very generously came together this year to support local families and those in need,” stated the detachment in a release.
