Now THIS is a romantic gift

“From teenagers to senior citizens, the love has never changed”

Now this is romance.

Last week Brian and Jane Whitcher of East Gate visited The Spotlight office so that Jane could purchase her husband’s Valentine’s Day gift – a year’s subscription to The Similkameen Spotlight.

“I just know how much he enjoys reading the paper and we want to keep up to date in our local community,” said Jane.

The couple has been married for 45 years and while they visited in the front office they chatted about their recent sled ride up the mountain to look at the moon and cuddle. They were a married before they were 20. “From teenagers to senior citizens, the love has never changed,” said Jane.
