It was a chance to have fun, enjoy some fine beers, dance to the great music of the Beerbarrels and others, all while raising money for good causes in Penticton.
Since Oktoberfest began, the society has donated between $40,000 and $50,000 to a variety of causes including Penticton and District Search and Rescue, the SS Sicamous restoration work and schools in the community.
