A long standing Christmas tradition in Penticton took place recently.
The Rotary Club of Penticton held their annual Wheelbarrow and Food Raffle in five stores – IGA, Safeway, Save-On, Superstore and Walmart.
About 50 volunteers, like Rotarian Gloria Wozniuk (left) and Rotary Club of Penticton president Barb Hoolaeff helped out selling raffle tickets.
This popular raffle raised over $2,800 for Soupateria and The Salvation Army Food Bank. Winners took home a wheelbarrow filled with groceries from each store. The winners are shown on the Rotary Club website at http://www.pentictonrotary.org/
