Snow blocks garbage pick up for some in Penticton

Several neighbourhoods are going without yard waste and garbage pick up Monday

Garbage and yard waste collection has been disrupted by the heavy snowfall Penticton received Monday.

Due to snowy conditions, many homes with curbside garbage collection may not receive garbage and yard waste pickup today, said a city release.

Please ensure there is a clear spot to place your carts and to leave the carts out for collection until they can be safely picked up. Areas that were unable to receive collection include:
