Garry Hollingshead of the Rotary Club of Summerland presented Rotary’s prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship to Alyson Lindsay, manager of the Summerland Asset Development Initiative’s Unity Youth Club.
The award recognizes Lindsay’s work over the past six years helping youth in the community achieve 40 key assets known to attribute to traits that will carry young people into successful adulthood.
Rotary organizers in Summerland say Lindsay has demonstrated the Rotary objectives and mandate of “Service Above Self.”
