A town hall meeting and open house for electoral area D in the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen is scheduled for Feb. 7.
Area D residents, Okanagan Falls, Kaleden, Apex and Upper Carmi, are invited to the meeting at Okanagan Falls School gymnasium from 7 to 9 p.m. Director Tom Siddon wants residents to share their thoughts and ideas on current issues and to offer a chance to speak with the regional district managers.
Some of the topics touched on include what services to residents get from the regional district for their property taxes and what influence taxpayers have in determining the planning and priorities of the regional district board.
RDOS finance staff will be available from 6 to 7 p.m. to present the financial plan and answer questions from residents.
