VIDEO: A tail-wagging good time at pet expo in Kelowna

The expo was held at Laurel Packinghouse on May 26

Laurel Packinghouse in Kelowna was packed with paws on May 26 for the annual Okanagan Pet Expo.

Dozens of pets and their people came out to enjoy a day all about animals, with a variety of vendors, a food truck, a chick holding station, and puppy races.

Although the event was mainly for dogs, attendees could also find a kitten, snake, and turtle at the expo.

Event organizer Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown said there were seven local non-profits at the event and activities through the day raised funds for Paws It Forward.
