Penticton Farmer's Market

Downtown

At the north end of the city is the downtown core which spreads right down to the lakeshore and includes easily accessed shops, boutiques, cafes, antique shops and second-hand stores.

On Saturday, Penticton's core boast not one, but three public markets. The oldest is the Penticton Farmer's Market, in the 100 block of Main Street, where you can indulge in the home-grown delights of the South Okanagan as small-scale and organic farmers and orchardists bring their produce to the market each week. Homespun baked goods, flowers, buskers and arts and crafts make the market a feast for the senses.

In the park next door is the Penticton and District Arts Council artisan market, Art under the Trees, where you'll find a range of  original works of art including photography, paintings, pottery, clothing and jewellery from throughout the Okanagan.

The Community Market, sponsored by the Downtown Penticton Market, takes place in the 200 and 300 blocks of Main Street, with not only offerings from local shops, but a range of entertainment, street vendors and other fun.

There are also a number of nail and hair salons and spas offering a wide range of services to make visitors feel beautiful and relaxed.
