Cave tubing in Belize is an adventure that takes travellers through the rainforest

Spectacular natural attractions and the excitement of discovering Mother Nature’s best kept secret draw travellers from around the globe, promising both relaxation and the richly rewarding authenticity they seek in a genuine Caribbean getaway.
Nestled between Mexico and Guatemala on the Caribbean coast of Central America, Belize is one of the few remaining unspoiled places on earth.
With diverse activities available on one vacation, it is usually possible to satisfy the individual needs of most members of a group. One of the most exiting excursions to take is the Belize cave tubing and zip line tour.
The adventure beings from the first platform where you will jump and zip to the next platform, flying through the air surrounded by birds, Howler monkeys, the nature and rainforest canopy that Belize is famous for.
Get fitted for your life vest and get acquainted with your cave lamp and tube before you head out for a float along the cave branch system. A 30-minute stroll through the beautiful Belize rainforest takes visitors through two dry caves where many stalagmites and stalactites can be admired along the way.
Once you get to the access point for the cave tubing experience, adventurers will see the crystal clear, refreshing river and enter the first cave. As you near the end of the tubing adventure, float through small rapids where you will pick up some speed and end the cave tubing ride in style, bringing you back to your starting point.
If a more laid-back adventure is more fitting for your itinerary take in Bannister Island. In a single tour you can visit a Manatee reserve, snorkel the second-longest barrier reef in the world and relax on a beautiful Bannister Island beach. Ideal for the first-time visitor, Bannister Island offers a taste of everything.
Your day begins on a snorkel boat for a 15-minute scenic ride to the powdery shores of Bannister Island. Once there, the excursion continues to a barrier reef with vibrant coral and crystal clear water. After, guides will take you to a beachfront for a range of activities including peddle boats and kayaks. Swim in the warm Caribbean water and wade out 150 feet before the water reaches your shoulders.
After relaxing on the beach, the tour boat will take you to Swallow Caye, the home of the Manatee Reserve. Watch manatees swim  and frolick in their natural habitat.
