Wednesday is the last chance for entries to name the Okanagan's newest music festival premiering in Penticton this July.

The winner of the contest will get rockstar treatment, including a VIP package for two ($1,000 value) and bragging rights that their name was chosen. Vanessa Jahnke, director for iRock Entertainment, said the package includes free food and beverage, some backstage access to be determined as the date of the concert gets closer and access into the VIP beer garden which will have a greater variety of beverages and host special events over the three days. The VIP package also includes a shirt, souvenir lanyard, access to a VIP bathroom facilities, VIP box office access at the gate, VIP dance floor access and more.

The music festival will take place in Kings Park on July 27 to 29 with more than a dozen bands, a vendor village, fun family activity area and beer gardens.

"We have some line ups ready to go, but we are not announcing anything until the first week of December. We will also have ticket sales starting early December just in time for Christmas," said Jahnke. "The festival will be a range of music including country rock, classic rock and rock. Coming into December we will have a lot more details."
