Penticton's Michael Musclow is celebrating his first compilation release stringing together material from his seven albums.
On Saturday, the three-time B.C. Indie Music Award nominee will be at The Elite to celebrate his album Anyone Gets Out Of It Alive available for the first time at the live show. The album is described as a sonic journey of emotional variety that will surely ensue to listeners of this 26-song, genre twisting collection.
In sharp contrast to the material of Anyone Gets Out of it Alive, Musclow's live presentation leaves little room for compromise as he completely takes control of acoustic instruments to do his bidding via lighting fingers and strong knuckles. He often leaves people in awe, inspired and a little frustrated simultaneously.
Joining Musclow will be Playing For Tips, featuring Dustin McGifford and Annie Scott of Kelowna. Expect a lot of smiles and melodic wonder.
Tickets are $5 and the live show begins at 8 p.m.
