Brock Zanrosso, runner-up on the second season of YTV’s The Next Star, is grabbing headlines all across Canada and America, and Penticton’s Peach Festival has snagged him to perform on Aug. 3 at this year’s festival.
Raised in Richmond and just 16 years old, Brock is on the verge of the big time, according to festival organizers.
“Thanks to his great singing voice, his personal rapport with the audience and his smouldering good looks, he is sure to be in the entertainment business for a long time,” said Peachfest president Rick Riddall. “Brock Zanrosso’s fan club is growing by the day and we’re thrilled to be able to introduce him to Penticton and the Okanagan, creating hundreds of new fans.”
In 2010 Brock was named B.C. Artist of the Week and was also on the Top 30 Under 30 list created by the Richmond Review.
