BCAA announced Friday, May 28, that its auto service centre in Penticton would be closing.

In an email sent to BCAA members, the centre did not see the volume of business necessary for BCAA to keep it open.

“BCAA will focus on our Kelowna BCAA Auto Service Centre, in addition to our Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island locations, where there is greater demand for our services,” reads the email.

Those with appointments or tires stored at the centre will be contacted by BCAA to make arrangements.

The BCAA service office in Penticton, which offers membership services and roadside assistance, is unaffected by this announcement and will remain open.
