The community helped cram not just one but two kennels full of food for the SPCA in Penticton over the weekend.

The donation drive on Sunday (Dec. 3) was a big success, with an additional $907.10 in donations on top of the kennels full of food and pet supplies.

People making donations were able to meet with police service dog “Dug,” victim services dog “Benny,” SPCA representatives and Citizens on Patrol volunteers.

The fundraiser was hosted at Cherry Lane Mall in Penticton. All the donations go to support the local SPCA.
