Three Penticton Vees are included on the
Goaltender Will Ingemann and defenceman Francesco Dell’Elce and Larry Keenan make up three of the six players on the year-end squad.
Dell’Elce was also named to the BCHL’s second all-star team.
Players were selected to year-end all-star squads after a vote was conducted with the 17 B.C.-based broadcasters. The five new Alberta-based teams who joined the league mid-season got their own set of year-end teams.
Ingemann, 18, led all rookie goaltenders in goals-against average (1.85), save percentage (.919) and shutouts (6). The Wayzata, Minn. product also broke the BCHL all-time shutout streak in March, as he didn’t allow a goal for 260 minutes.

Dell’Elce, also 18, led all rookie defenceman in points with 38 in 54 games.
Keenan, a 19-year-old and Detroit Red Wings prospect, was second behind Dell’Elce in scoring among rookie defencemen.
The trio will return to the ice on Friday, April 19, when the Vees host the Vernon Vipers for the first game of the playoffs’ second-round series at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
