John Archer, 67, said he views public safety and protecting Penticton’s greenspaces as the foundation for his platform.

“If elected, I will be part of the process to enhance and protect our beautiful city,” Archer said.
Archer has lived in the South Okanagan for the past 21 years.
“I’ve been involved in many different aspects of the community,” he said. “I’ve volunteered with the Penticton Art Gallery, owned a bed and breakfast in Kaleden for 17 years and completed the Ironman Triathlon. Arts, culture and sports are very important to me and many other Pentictonites. What I bring to the council table is enhancement of culture and all its components for the city.”
