FortisBC was called to the Penticton bottle depot after a car drove over a concrete barrier and into wall of the building.
Firefighters, ambulance and RCMP all responded to the crash on Rosetown Avenue at about 11:20 a.m.
It’s not currently known whether the driver was injured in the crash.
The lisence plate of the car was embedded in the wall following the crash, and according to the fire department FortisBC was called to check on the gas metre.
With a fresh drop of snow on the roads and a recent uptick in crashes, drivers should take extra care when travelling in the South Okanagan.
