Child dies in Enderby accident

Two-year-old hit by vehicle on rural property Monday

RCMP and the coroner are investigating the death of a toddler in Enderby Monday.

The two-year-old child was struck by a vehicle on a rural property at approximately 2 p.m.

“He was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries,” said Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

All parties are cooperating with the investigation, and Victim Services is engaged with the family.

The investigation is ongoing, and Noseworthy said no further information is being released at this time.
