Collision slows traffic in Penticton’s industrial area

Intersection cleared quickly after collision

Traffic on Industrial Avenue in Penticton was reduced to single-lane alternating for a short time Wednesday afternoon, while emergency crews dealt with a collision that blocked the intersection with Quebec Street.

An observer on scene reports that there doesn’t appear to be significant injuries from the collision, which happened about 4:15 p.m. Two vehicles were involved, a white pickup that sustained minimal damage and a red SUV that was more severely damaged.
