Friday night shenanigans resulted in the Sicamous RCMP escorting a teenager home.

On Nov. 24 at 1 a.m., police received a report of a large group of youth yelling, screaming and disturbing residents near the Sicamous arena. When the RCMP arrived at the scene, the majority of the kids dispersed, though one 17-year-old persisted in swearing at the officer. After a brief pursuit on foot, the youth was arrested for causing a disturbance and driven to his home, with his parents informed of his actions.

He was released without charges at that time.
